What is Ethersparks?
Ethersparks is an innovative gamified NFT platform. Each Etherspark represents Ethers which came to life in a cute package. Their goal is to go to the moon and you have to help them get there. Ethersparks can be adopted at etherspark.io .
What’s the tech behind it?
Each Etherspark is an animated SVG graphic that has been programatically created from our system with metadata that defines specific attributes of the Etherspark. With animation, we bring life to them.
There are no 2 Ethersparks like each other, as each one of them has a unique set of attributes and graphics. All those graphics have been hosted on IPFS to provide the best up time possible. Another aspect of this system is that the images on IPFS Content Identifiers (CID) are tamper-proof and cannot be modified by anyone, even us.
Every time you adopt Ethersparks, they are automatically created from our ERC721 Ethereum smart contract in the background.
You are part of the journey
The community is also important to us. We want to empower the community as much as possible and have you as part of the journey with us.
So we took the feedback from our community onboard regarding removing the higher tier of the price ranges and reducing the total supply. As a result, now there will ever be only 7500 Ethersparks in existence.
How the rarity system works?
Each Etherspark has 2 ratings, one for the spark itself and one for the background.
This creates an interesting dynamic where the rarity is a combination between 2 sets of values and creates a total of 25 different rarity combinations.
Anyone can check their Etherspark’s rarities directly from the background icons.
This system is what makes Ethersparks special as this can be leveraged in our upcoming features. A basic use of this for example is the sparkling (shiny) attribute that is applied when 2 rarity levels matches.
How our price range works?
Our price range starts from 0.01 and increments by 0.02 for each level.
Our price range looks like this:
level 1: 0.01ETH 0–499
level 2: 0.03ETH 500–1499
level 3: 0.05ETH 1500–3499
level 4: 0.07ETH 3500–7500
This provides a reward mechanism for our earlier members and is still at a reasonable price compared to most other projects.
What’s our goal?
We deliberately choose a different approach from other projects with our cute animated vector based Ethersparks and the rarity attributes.
The end goal is to create a range of different applications all centred around Ethersparks NFTs as well as a gamified collecting experience. This will be accomplished by leveraging our custom rarity system, which will be used in various ways. Each Etherspark will have a specific score attached to it based on their rarity levels.
To reach those milestones, we have experienced devs coming onboard with us to make the following roadmap come true.
Roadmap to the moon
Q2. 2021 — Ethersparks adoption
- Ethersparks adoption launch
This step is to distribute the NFTs to the community and fund the project.
Q3. 2021 — How strong are my Ethersparks?
- Landing page and Ethersparks holders only accessible features
The landing page will be used to explain the project in details and the Ethersparks NFTs will be used as a login mechanism to access a user account page. - Gamified leaderboard
The leaderboard will be used to track collection points and games scores at a later stage. We are planning to have special events and competitions using this features.
Q3-Q4 2021 — The Ethercades open!
- The Etherspark arcade will open with game(s) that will only be accessible to Ethersparks owners. The games will have the theme of helping Ethersparks to go to the Moon. Players will be able to score points in the games which will then be reflected on the leaderboard and the user rank. Competitions will also be held and winners will be rewarded.
2022 and beyond
- We will be looking at adding more games to the Ethercades, general improvements and ongoing events.
